ACTIVE SINGER
TUITION: $1800. includes:

- Daily musical coaching, (1 hour for every scene you are cast )
- Use of practice rooms
- Staging rehearsals 1 hour for every scene in which you are cast )
- Stage Theory class which includes: Improvisation, Movement exercises, Interpretation skills, How to prepare a role, Discussion of the "Fach" system, European and American Theaters, How to audition and find an agent.
- Depending on the needs of the ensemble, a vocal Master Class may take the place of the Stage Theory class or there will be a combination of both.

Pianist/Coach Apprentice Program
The celebrated Margaret Singer has implemented this program for pianists who possess the technical abilities of a solo pianist, but who have chosen to pursue a career as a singers pianist and coach. Love and ability of languages, excellent musicianship, love of singers and the desire to accompany professional singers are the prerequisites.
Applications should be received no later than February 28, 2023. Pianists are requested to send two recommendations, one from a pianist and one from a singer. A resume containing their experience and education is also required.
The apprentice pianists will play and coach all the opera scenes and Ms. Singer will oversee and coach all the singers and pianists. Two or three pianists will be accepted .
Course Fee $1050.
Includes: Accommodations/daily evening meal
- Playing stage rehearsals and coaching singers privately and/or in ensemble
- Coaching instruction under the tutelage of Margaret Singer
- Use of practice rooms •
- Participation in all stage theory and improvisation classes for the purpose of better understanding how singers have to function on stage.

• Observance of all staging and musical rehearsals
• Active participation in all stage theory and Improvisation classes

- Possibility of performing as an Extra or in a chorus as needed .
